Default Mother's Chrome Polish

Ditto for me on the Mother's Chrome Polish.

Under no circumstances should you ever use a harsh cleaner, i.e. Eagle One wheel cleaner, Wheel Mist etc, the stuff in there is okay (not ideal) for regular alloys that are clearcoated, but not for chrome.

I also usually throw a coat of Mothers carnuba wax on my rims for added "slickness", helps keep water spotting down...who am I kidding, my GS has only been in the rain once. Seriously though, the mother's chrome polish and a coat of wax will make your chrome look awesome.

sorry for the offtopic, but do high polished wheels have clearcoats? and what is the benefit diff between having clearcoats and not having it? fade? discolor? (but it's high polished)

Do good wheel manufacturer, like Works have them? or is that something you choose to add onto the wheels after purchase, and how much are we talking about to clearcoat?

thanks

Default Works should already be cc'd

Highly polished wheels differ from chrome in the sense that the alloy is what is polished and still needs to be "protected" with a clear coat. You wouldn't clearcoat a chrome wheel, because the chrome is the "polish" and clear would tend to yellow on it. At least I think anyway. But the Work wheels should definitely be clearcoated already they make some nice wheels.
