Default Whats your favorite summer tire???

I was wondering for the members out there who use these higher performance tires( as opposed to all season or stock tires), what is your favorite brand, model, and why?? I used to change the tires on my last car every 15K (9months) so have tried many brands before. Nitto 555, Nitto INVO, Kuhmo ecsta, toyo t1R,toyo T1s,Falken Fk452 and the list goes on and on. I also wnated to include Pirreli p zero nreo,bf goodrich kdw, yokohama advan sport in the poll but I cant edit it for some reason.

Bridgestone Potenza RE050A
great traction, cornering, long lasting..
i'm not too concerned about the tire noise..
i prefer this over Michellin Pilot Sport PS2.
both good looking tires though.

If you are asking for tires marketed as summer then I would have to say the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 hands down.

However, I am quite thrilled with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, although not billed as a summer tire, they perform like one and I will only be using mine in the summer.

I would say the michellin ps2 cup tires would be the ultimate, but I was referring to cheaper tires that one can use for a dropped car would burn them up in less than a year. I am familiar with all of tires you guys mentioned, but I am looking for a cheapertire that also comes in a 245/30. Sorry I should have been more specific

i have general exclaim UHP's on stock 17" rims. '06 GS 300 AWD.

thank god the original owner dumped the dunlop run flats. The Exclaims are ok, but I hear a noticeable hum, and they aren't exactly butter smooth over expansion joints, and manhole covers. anything that is a depression in the road, like a pothole or crack, i think the car just bangs and crashes a lot more than it should.

What i want are different rims, (i hate the standard 17" design, pain to clean) I like a nice, clean 5 spoke design, but i want to stay with 17" to preserve the ride. And I want to mount the smoothest, quietest tire I can. Handling is not a priority, it's pretty inert anyway, the steering transmits no feedback. I'd rather just optimise for perfect ride, which is what the car is supposed to do best
