Question Nitrogen in Run Flats

Is there any less advantage to using nitrogen over regular compressed air in run flats, compared to regular tires? I know the advantages of less alloy corrosion and adding air less often will be the same. But what about ride comfort? Handling? Would these be enhanced by nitrogen, since the sidewalls are so stiff, already?

Also, since I don't check tire pressure often, I'm thinking nitrogen would be a good idea for me. Any guess how much longer a set of tires will last me if I make the switch?

If you don't check your pressures often Nitrogen is probably a good idea, because it doesn't fluctuate with the ambient temperature as much as regular air.

so long as you check your air pressure, nitrogen is almost pointless...

it does not ride better, it will not make tires last longer (so long as proper inflation is kept)...

and here's the kicker... even with nitrogen, you can still get a nail in a tire, which still requires you to check the air pressure in your tires, so, the original benefit of nitrogen is almost a moot point as well...

from what i know, nitrogen will not get as hot/warm as regular air but i dont know how much cooler but i know thats the only benefit.
