wheel clearance question

Default wheel clearance question

i have rotora 4 piston big brake kit in the front on my gs300. i'm looking for wheels for the winter i was wondering if the oz racing super tourismo gt wheel in 18x8 with a 40 offset will clear the calipers? does anyone know?

think you need to check the disk type of the wheel; that will determine if it clears bbk

Most likely you will need to run spacers to clear, but definitely contact the manufacturer for the disk type.

so i'm guessing i need i high disk type rim?

Yes. That is for BBK clearance. Low disk = max lip.

I believe they should. I've seen them clear over Supra TT brakes which are bigger thatn the rotoras.

The only sure way to answer this question is to check the brake template against the wheel.
