Procedure for replacing brake pads on 2006 GS300?
Ok.. I've got some pads in the rear of my 2006 GS300 that are seriously warn out to the point where I don't want to drive it.. Anyway, I figured this was just another brake job (something I've been doing on everything from Chevy's to Honda's to Nissan's for the past 20 years) and upon disassembly find that the brakes were redesigned a bit.. I've yet to see a caliper like this one that folds down and hangs off the bottom just easy enough to replace the pads w/o pinching or twisting the fluid lines.. Nice..
However, I can't figure out how to replace the pads since they've got long pins going through them.. I tried tapping them out from the rear but they don't budge much.. Unfortunately I don't have $750 () to get the service manuals (all 5 of them) so I'm flying blind here.. Are the pins a punch out or something else? Thx!

I put another thread about this in the 3g GS300 forum and I'll update that one instead of this one.. I'll hopefully ad some pics sometime this week since I don't see any elsewhere on this forum yet.
