Default No wheels for my SC?!?!

Well, it seems that everything is a bit more difficult in good ol' Switzerland. I spent weeks to find a nice set of rims, only to find that all the rims I like are 'illegal' (illegal rims are a big 'nono' here, as a potential fine costs me much more than the most expensive set of rims ...)
The problem is the offset. As far as I know, the SC400's original offset is 50, and I have to stay VERY close to that. Does anyone know of rims (most probably 18") with an offset as close to 50 as possible. The style I'm looking for is:

oops, sorry i misread your thread, you are looking for the "style". how about blitz z1, or many other racing style rims from japan that have offsets close to +50

yeah that's the first wheel that comes to my mind, Blitz TechnoSpeed Z1s.

Or maybe you can try Yokohama's Kreuzer Series X.

Default Not bad ...

I knew I could count on this forum

Thanks guys, both wheels look pretty nice, especially the Yokohama. Now I have to see if they have a distributor somewhere in Europe. If not, I guess I have to sell my SC to free up enough money to import them from Japan

Any ideas about a rim with a few more spokes maybe?

Ah, going for that DTM look...there are quite a few wheels like that...in addition to some of the JDM offerings, you might to try some American or European ones...

Dunno about distribution in Europe, but you can try emailing these guys...
www.hrewheels.com

Here's some of their wheels with many spokes...these are made to order so you can spec out diameter, width, offset, disk setting, etc...44x are 2-piece, 54x are 3-piece. All are forged centers, spun rims.

If you want one piece, Moda makes a DTM style wheel also. Very inexpensive but it's a heavy cast wheel...

There are some others but I can't recall them off the top of my head...
