245/35/20 Nitto vs Falken problem
On my gs I have 20x8.5F and 20x10R. I have a nitto 555 275/30/20 on the back and it fits and looks great. It recently came time to change the front tires. My originals were falken st115 in 245/35/20. The tire was discontinued so I just decided to get the macthing nitto 555 in the front in the same size. So i get the tires put on and for some reason they look a bit taller than my falkens. The sidewall looks enormous. Ill post up before and after pictures for you to compare. Is this just part of the design of the shoulder of the tire? Are the nittos more blocked off and the falkens more rounded?
Would the 245/30 look better/work?

The Falkens look more like a 30 series tire than a 35. The Nitto looks about right...but yeah they all will be different. I had a rough ride on my 30's so I went to 35's and it helped. BTW I have 20x8.5 in front and run 235/35/20 Nitto's to give it a minor stretch and it looks good in my opinion.

Ive looked here before and it seems that the 245/35 is the standard. I actually just took the car out on the highway and going over some dips and bumps the tires actually rubbed when they would never do that before. The tire shop i got them from has a 30 day test drive period and if you dont like the tires you can get a different set for just the price difference. I think im going to try the Falken FK-452 since they dont make the st115 anymore.
