Lightbulb inputs welcome..please

hey guys, how about some inputs/opinions on the following jdm wheels in polish finish :

1. www.crimson-inc.co.jp/sport/barletta.html

2. http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/...p/eukhp_2.html

both of them have ~3-3.5" front lip and ~3.5-4" rear lip, similarly priced....

TIA...william

both sweet!

for some reason however, i think the work rim will require a body kit to really look right.

what will the prices be on these?

I personally like the Work. The Barletta looks like the Auto Couture Supreme had a little brother; which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

The Club Linea Diablos ("Diabros"...say it with an accent... ) are nice also...I think I would go with the Work EuroLine KH instead though...how about the EuroLine FS?

Between those 2 selections, I choose the Work rims... The barletta just doesn't look as nice. Have you considered Lowenhart LD1? I personally like those rims a lot...

manaray,

yah, the "diabros" are nice as well.just that i saw the lastest issue of AF EXE and VIP and therr are two cars with "barretas" that really appeared to my attention...i was going to list the work FS too, but there were quite a few feedback from your last post.. i guess i like rims with MASS, and most work rims qualify..

hleo,

ahhh, the LD1s...it kind of got sqezzzed down my list(though still good rim) after all the new rims came out lately. i really really like the LD1s a lot back in 2000 when they first came out...i guess may be i have seen waaay too many here in LA

thanks guys

I would say go with the Barlettas if you want a more laid back classy look, or with the Works if you want an aggressive look.

william,

what size would you get for these? 19 x 8.5/9.5 or 10? also, do both of these rims have different colored centercaps available, like matching silver? especially for the barletta dish, i'd like to see it with a matching center.

in any case, both are solid choices

Will,

If you like the Work rims, then I would suggest maybe the

FA-BU-LO-US Profound.....

Richie,

yap, work is among some of the best wheel makers on the planet

howie,

the gt-n(correct?) you got has very BIG lips as well..heheh

mumbles,

you read my mind...in a way i am looking for rims that is "flexible" , look wise, on different lexus..that way i can put them on my future say...sc, or ls...

i saw them both in jdm mags, on LS, and they both looked good to me. i would prob need more aggressive break set up if i opt for the KH due to its open spoke design

pvmike,

i currently have 18s now, and is seriously thinking of 19s...may be...really tough decision for me. prices for wheels along are no big deal, but the tyres cost could add-on as well. AND i found out that one of my fav tyres, yoko dna GP( will be sold here as AVS ES100 this spring) will not have 19s...yet

work has that black ctr cap as shown, and barletta has silver cap

here are the potential sizes:

18x8.5+9.5/10,
18x9+10

19x8.5+9.5/10
19x9+10

Dru,

ahh the new fabulous...profound, nice but expensive though..there are so new; the work FS is very similar at 3/4 the price

appreciate the feedback...
