Default Will 255/40/18 & 285/35/18 Tires work on GS400?

Hey everyone,

I need some advice about tires. I have a 2000 GS400 with 18x9 wheels in front on 245/40/18 tires and 18x10 wheels in the rear on 275/35/18 tires. The car is not lowered and I don't plan to lower it because it would scrape on my steep driveway. I'm thinking about putting on 255/40/18 tires on the front and 285/35/18 on the rears. Will this new setup cause rubbing issues and will the wheels look okay with the wider tires? Anyone have pics of this setup and anything else I should consider?

What about 245/45/18 for fronts and 275/40/18 for rears?

Thanks,
Mike

I think it'll look great... and it's really not that much bigger than what you have (and still smaller than the 275/35-19 that a lot of guys run on the rear)

should fit just fine, however wheel offset will be a factor...
