Tire size for IS350 with 19" wheels?
I have 06 IS350 and plan to get 19" wheels.
OEM tires are 225/40/18 (25.09") and 255/40/18 (26.03")
I know which one I want for the rear. 255/35/19 - 26.03" same as OEM
For the front I don't know which one to get between the two.
225/35/19 will be 25.2" - close to OEM 25.1"
225/40/19 will be 26.09 - bigger than OEM but close to rear size and will look better with same sidewall thickness front and back. I personally don't like OEM's different sidewall thickness.
Will I lose any performance/handling/ride by going with same size on the front as rear? Should I stick with OEM's different size configuration? My rims will be 19x8 and 19x9 with +35 offsets on both and I will lower the car with Eiback Pro kit. Thanks!
