Default Tire pressure, 20" wheels

I've got 20" staggered MRR wheels on my GS. 245/35/20's and 275/30/20's...... does anyone know the exact tire pressure I should have in the tires, front & back? I know being slightly under-inflated provides a softer ride... but this is my daily driver & I take long trips all the time, I'd like them to be fully inflated.

Thanks in advance.

These wheels and tires aren't the stock though. The tire pressure will vary with the different size tires and wheels. The side wall of your tires should say what the max is. I wouldn't go any more then 40 psi as henry said.

correct, what's written on the tire is the MAX pressure. you definitely don't want to get there, it's going to be super stiff. most max performance tires, they state at around 51psi max. that's a lot of pressure.

technically, sticking with factory spec (32psi) is all you need. but with the much lower profile than stock, and also the fact that most cars here are lowered with camber, i would put in a bit more air to protect the rim, and also to counter the camber wear a little

The rears have noticeable camber... should I maybe put 40psi in them, and closer to 36psi in the front?

usually it's better idea to have softer rear (for handling purpose).

personally i would probably still keep 36 to 38psi. i had 40 in the rear before, i actually had some middle wear

I have run 40 psi for the past seven years without issue, remember with 20" wheels you have a short sidewall, 40 psi will provide you with good handling, rim protection and a ride as good as one can expect on 20's.

38-42 is always good. If the tires say XL when you bought it that means its recommended at 40psi. If you're worried you can even go to 42 if you'd like.

i run 38 in all my low profile tires. it helps protect the wheels from damage and gives better handling.

Question guys
I will be going for a trip this weekend. LA-LV, driving in the afternoon with my car packed. Right now I have 40front 36rear (245/30/20.285/25/20). Last night I checked the tire pressure after driving freeway and the front was at 45psi.
Should I lower the front a little for my road trip? to maybe say 38 if that helps at all or keep it at 40? Remember my tire pressure went up to 45 at night during freeway driving with only 2 people in the car.
