I want to powdercoat the face of my 3pc wheel, can I do it without taking the wheel apart? Its and old discontinued wheel and I dont want to mess with it.

i'm not a wheel guru, but, possibly in order to do this correctly, they may need to disassemble the wheel. my friend did this w/his HRE's and the disassembled it.

If you do this, it will probably look terrible and you may even ruin it. The proper way would be to take it all apart, and paint the center, so not as much material is added to the edge of the wheel, and you can then put it all back together.

We offer this as a service, and we've done 100's of 3-piece wheels.

1. You BETTER take the wheel apart of it will not just look like crap, you might glue the 3 pieces together
2. Powercoating sometimes can weaken 3 piece wheels.
