Default Sigh my chrome lip...

I curbed my chrome lip, lightly, but still curbed. Anyway to fix it without having to re-dip or replace the lip (3 piece wheel). Like regular polished lips, is this repairable on the car?

I think it is repairable. Find a shop that repairs wheels.

to repair it, they'll have to rechrome the thing. they can't just polish/machine/paint it to repair it.

personally, i'd have them replaced unless its a wheel clear from japan or whatever, then it gets dicey

agree, you can only re-chrome it, i don't think you can fix it otherwise

It'll need the old chrome stripped off, the aluminum re-buffed
and then new chrome.

You can't do that without taking the wheel apart.

Be sure to find out what to re-torque the assembly bolts to
when reassembling the wheel. Also, it will need a new silicone seal.

If the rim halves are welded together (I've seen this on some
Japanese made wheels), all bets are off.
