Default Considering to put 19" on RX300 -- any ideas? suggestions? thanks...

Hi,

I'm seriously thinking of putting a set of 19" on my RX300. Maybe 19x8 or 19x8.5, with tires 255/50/19 Michelin tires. I don't want to go any bigger (although I love big rims), 'cause the tires get thinner...

I have a few selections in mind for the wheels... either the Dronell type M05 or the Lowenhart LD1 (silver with chrome lips).

I may also consider TEIN coilovers just to lower the ride a little little bit.

What do you all think? Do you think my ride will be rough? not comfortable anymore? too stiff? Advice, comments, suggestions please...

thank you very much!

the LD1 is great quality, but wayy too many people have them; if you are not in LA, should still be rare.

in terms of JDM wheels, i think WORK japan makes the most SUV wheel selections..

19" is OK for SUVs. Just PM you with some pictures. Hopefully you like it.

Thats crazy man. 22s on an Rx300? how? I think its going to ride real rough. Does anyone have pics to post up? BTW definitely post pics of your ride before and after, i would like to see if you did any other mods to it. When are you going to get the rims installed?

well i should be getting the rims in a week or so now, their being custom made. but once i get them, i have to place them up next to the hub and see how thick of a spacer i need. then order spacers. so prob another week from then to get the spacers shipped
