HRE 540 Reverse Lip?
Anyone out there know who I can call about getting pricing on a set of HRE 540's? I'm looking for 20x10.5 and 20x9 full chrome in a reverse lip. I've seen the 540 in a chrome reversed lip before and I remember some CL members talking about someone who can get really good deals on HRE's. Nay help would be appreciated! Here's a pic of the wheel with a normal lip...

The reverse lip is only for Porsche and Ferrari. They WILL NOT make the reverse series (54X-R) for anything but those cars.

I'm actually working with HRE to see if they'll make us a special run on reverse lip 20" wheels...so far, the 540, 543, 545, 546, 648 are in the running for the final pick...only ONE of those can be converted for this special run...but it's still early on and I really need to get like 10 to 20 people to purchse the wheel otherwise HRE won't bother (the cost to manufacture them would be just too high) as they don't have the 20" setup for automobiles yet...
Mo over at SRT give great prices for HRE's...I'd check with him, Lextacy44, and Peter....

Mo has the best prices I have seen.
As far as reverse lip.
I have talked with HRE and their "special projects" division only makes reverse lip wheels for porsche and ferari. To do a limited run as Manaray stated they would need more than 10 people to buy the wheels. At the current prices...I dont see 10 people buying wheels from HRE. These reverse lip wheels would probably still be higher than the regular pricing. The pricing increase is because all of their CNC programs would have to be modified and some of their tooling would need to be modified. I would like to have a reverse lip design, but I just dont think it will happen any time soon on HREs. They do plan to do it though. No timing given.

Anyone else? If you are seriously interested, please reply. He is willing to make 24 wheels (6 sets) so we only need 6 people total. This is an exclusive deal between Wheel Experts and HRE.
The good news: He will make me any 540 style, any finish, any color. The wheels are going to be 20x8.5 and 20x9.5. We only need 6 people, not 10. The pricing I have worked out with him is excellent. The lip wil be nice and deep. They can be for any Lexus except the new LS430 (brake caliper clearance issues) and the IS300 (20" can't fit). The new SC430, GS300/400/430 incl. the older style, SC300/400, and LS400 are included.
The bad news: It has to paid in full up front before he makes them. Build time: 4-6 weeks. No refunds.

OK i have only 2 interested people so far....anyone else? 6 is the minimum. I can also drill them in any PCD you want, so 5:112 for Mercedes S Class/CL, 5:120 for E39/E38 BMW incl. M5, and the big Lexus/Infinti cars are all welcome.

No they should fit aftermarket big brake kits. He can use a high disk in the front. the LS430 gives special problems, but actually he can make it. Of course you would need to specifiy to me that a high disk is neccesary for big brake clearance.
