Default 5 mm spacers, hubcentric rings

Hey all,

I have a general question. I'm pretty new when it comes to wheels, but I've searched and read a lot on these forums, and I was wondering, are hubcentric rings something that people just generally automatically buy along with aftermarket wheels? I alway see people putting new wheels on their car but not much mention of hubcentric rings. Also, I'm pondering wheels that could benefit from 5mm spacers. I've only read of people putting on 10mm + spacers, I'm wondering what exactly needs to be done to fit small, 5mm spacers on the car. I know that usually thicker spacers have bolts that fit into the existing hub or something, but 5mm usually are not thick enough. If I am going 5mm only, do I literally just slide them on and then use the pre existing bolts and lugnuts? Or will I have to get new longer ones all around?

Also, if I just get H&R 5mm hubcentric spacers, it says it comes with all the necessary bolts and studs and what not. So do I just need the H&R spacers, put those in, and just throw on the new wheels with normal lugnuts?
