Another Offset Help Thread (pleeeeeassse help)
I've searched and read about 15-20 different threads AND the wheel fitment guide by Rominl, but I still have questions about offsets. I did search and hopefully I didn't miss anything or offend anyone for asking another offset question.
I plan on getting staggered 19s in the future w/ fat setup (245/40/19-front and 275/35/19-rear). I see in the guide that a 19x8.5 +38 (front) and 19x9.5 +38 or 19x10 +44 (rear) is conservative.
My question is...is there a range of offsets that I can look for that will give me no rubbing issues w/ a fat setup? or I need to stick specifically to these recommendations. I don't plan on a bbk and would like most lip possible W/O fender mods. My '01 GS430 is mildly lowered on CS V.2 w/ 2 finger gap. Basically, any recommendation for a 19 staggered set up w/ lip action and fat setup (245/40- and 275/35-) w/o rubbing and fender mods. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Base on your offset numbers, they are correct for no rubbing, no alteration to fenders. There are maybe +,- 2~3 mm you can play with but not much more. You could go smaller on tires sizes like 245/35 and 275/30 to give you a little more room but they would not help you with the width side where they would rub the fenders.
Use this http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp to help you with the offsets you like to try. Hope it helps and good luck...
