Default New HRE wheels (full-face design)? [pics]

So my friend snapped a few pics while he was at HRE. I saw these and noticed that I've never seen these styles from HRE before. So, I checked out the HRE website and they were nowhere to be found. Anyhow, here they are. They're quite nice looking wheels but being HRE, I'm sure they have a pretty hefty price tag as well.

They look pretty good. I still prefer something with a lip though.

I agree... on a not so sporty 4 door, or certain other FWD applications those would look awesome...

I think all those wheels look great, especially the 5 spoke ones at the top.

I remember hearing something about HRE doing monoblock forged wheels. Those look like them. Crazy huh ... the "it" company in 3 pcs wheels is doing monoblock forged ! Guess theres just too many comapanies doing 3 piece.

I actually like them and would rock them on my car but like I've stated above, they're HRE and would more than likely cost a pretty penny. Although, if they're comprable to the price of 1 pc forged from BBS then, I might seriously consider them. That is of course if I don't find a set of OZ Futuras first

Forged one-piece created to sell to dealerships.

Not bad!

(dare I say that the mesh spokes are too skinny?)

The third one is something I would put on a 3 series.

I like these Polished Monoblock wheels.
I'd definitely take all 3 of those wheels in the first picture.
These wheels would look really good on an audi.

I saw these wheels on e46fanatics.com a few months ago. I agree they have that teutonic or german car look and feel. Probably would work on an IS or G35 though. You never know, wheels like these from HRE could usher in the lip-less look again. Remember, everything is cyclical...comes and goes. Lips were the rage when I was a kid. Then it changed to flat faced wheels. It changed with front wheel popularity, although that may be coincidental....maybe not since rear wheel drive has returned as the in-thing to drive.
