Tire and Wheel question
My 430 has the optional 17in wheels and summer tires(235/45-17). I am thinking of replacing them with the RE960AS PP and then getting another set of wheels for snow tires, Blizzaks. If I go with the stock size(225/55-16) for the snows and new wheels will I have any clearance problems with the brakes and rotors? Will there be a big difference in handling between the summer 030's and the ultra high performance all seasons? Is the offset for the 16's different then the 17's? I felt that 16in made sense for the snows as well as save me $300 over 17's. Total price for all 17's is approaching $2,000 vs. $1,700 for the 16/17 mix. My prices are from the tirerack. Do we get a discount or does the club just get a credit? I travel 24K miles a year,100 mile highway round trip per day, so I wanted something that would last as well as be top notch. Any comments are welcome.

the 960's are surprisingly well mannered for an all season tire... performance wise, I'd say they are better than many cheaper dry performance tires...
as far as 16's fitting - some will, some won't... if you are buying through tire rack, they will know which will...
