Any info on MRR wheels? quality? look?
Thinkin of buying the MRR HR-2's. I really like the look of the wheel from what i have seen online, but have never seen them in person. Does anyone have any exp. with this brand? do they look cheap in person? how is the quality of the wheel? do they bend easily? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thankx

MRR makes really nice wheels, you won't be disappointed, they are not cheap looking by any means, and though I have HR1's in standard non-chrome, they look extremely classy and have gotten a lot of compliments.

I read an article on wheel construction and it said MRR was one of the best quality wheels on the market. There are several casting processes and MRR uses the best possible process. It is just below forging. It's the same casting process used by Work, Maya, Lowenhart and 5zigen. Anyone choosing MRR is getting a great quality wheel.
I just wished they had more designs.

they are JWL certified if that means anything (rota is JWL certified so it must not mean much)
I have a set of hr3 20" and the quality and finish looks to be quality.
The designers of many MRR wheels were designed by Cosmic Japan JDM ( this is why you see the "hareborrani" engraving on the wheels and "MRR" logo on center cap). I believe Cosmic Japan's build house is bringing these into the states under the brand name "MRR'.
genuine Japanese design and a replica of nothing ! the real deal here!

My HR-2's only last 6 days due to a pothole problem, but i have a feeling this pothole ruined alot of wheels as i called the city and they already knew which one i was talking about......that happened in mid-march and as of today i am still unable to get a new wheel due to MMR trying to find a new chromer.
I am very impressed with the wheels just wish i could get another one sooner or should have not gotten chrome.
As for derrick at D-2 autosport he has been very good about keeping me informed even tho i know its not his problem

Is the city paying for your wheel?

The MMR wheel section on the website www.superbuytires.com has a great gallery of the various MMR's on numerous vehicles... The quality looks greats! I'm a big fan of this wheel company myself, especially on Lexus'!

Hey Rod thanks alot man, this in between time does suck, but its a very rare occurence (that they switch finishers). Once they get production back in the full swing, I would not be at all concerned about getting chrome.
