what does lo disc or high disc mean?

Default what does lo disc or high disc mean?

what do these term mean when ordering rims?

On a functional level, the spec has to do with available space inside the wheel face. Usually, it pertains to BBK fitment. High disk wheels can fit BBKs while low disk wheels USUALLY do not. There is also a correlation between this spec and the amount of "lip" available. Low disk wheels tend to have more lip.

Here is a pic of the difference in how the wheels are built.



In this case, R = High Disk and O = Low Disk.
