Question Ace Forged Wheels

Any one have a set of ACE Forged wheels?? Im thinking of getting a set but I'm worried the quality will not be that of iForged and other high end brands. They're manufactured by Kanei, also the maker of ACE alloy rims. Quality?? Just looking for some insight before buying. Thanks in advance.

Well for one, they make some pretty good looking wheels so that's a plus. If you are doubting their quality, be sure to do a bit more research before taking the plunge. As it's been discussed in the past, the term "forged" wheel doesn't necessarily mean an industry-wide standard. Different manufacturers have different standards as to what their "forging" process actually is-- some better than others. If you sift through recent threads, even Iforged's quality is debated. I do not recall even one member on this board that actually has ACE Forged wheels. It may be because it's a new segment to their company or maybe other reasons that haven't been yet discussed? It seems like a trend right now for wheel manufacturers to offer forged wheels. I think TIS even offers a forged line now (which I would never consider purchasing). The best way to find out how well made their product is is to contact them and ask about the aluminum alloy used and the process? Some wheel experts here may chime in as to what is top-notch forging procedure vs. an inferior one.

Thanks for the reply. The company has been making wheels for awhile now, but their forged line is new within the last 2 years. All of my searching thus far has resulted in nothing

Your welcome. I would hold off then until I get some definitive answers. Just remember that you do have other established wheel manufacturers to fall back on.
