Default Whats the best 18" Tire

What is the best 18" tire on the market? 245/40/18

I am looking at: Nitto 555, Toyo, Pirelli Pzero Directional or Assym, on the good price range!
Michelin Pilot Sport and Yokohama AVS Sport are price higher than the rest!

I have notice that quite few member here with Toyo or Nitto. Are those better than Pirelli Pzero?

I don't know about "the best", but I've heard the "best bang for the buck" in 18 are the kumho's (sp). Great price and great reviews by those "in the know" here at CL.

Shin,

these are just my experience, and from many tyrerack reviewers:

Bridge Re730, yoko avs DB, toyo T-1s, sumitomo HTRZII, Kumho

if you want to spend over $200, get either the re730, or toyo

less than $200, avs, or HTRZ

Pirellis are on the loud side, and do not last long. again, just my exp.

I know that for 19s, there is nothing that can beat the Bridgestone PolePositions SO3's. They are great tires, also check out tire rack to see the reviews, they even say it's better than the Michelin Pilot Sports.

Wow.. that sound very expensive for toyo..(thought I don't know the price for Toyo).. but tirerack has s03 for $201. Sounds like S03 might be good deal..

How about the quality of Nitto 555 compare to S03? I think Nitto is arround $160???

the t-1s are supposed to be in the same class as the s-03s, with may be a little more tread wear. the s-o3s are excellent tyres as well. nittos are pretty good for the price. but we get mixed reviews on the nittos here.
