Default HELP, steering wheel shakes

OK, so I bought some wheels and tires (purchased separately)from Tire Rack. I had them mounted and balanced at a local shop. I brought them back to my house and started to put them on my car. Well, I went to put on the first wheel and I noticed that w/ the hub centric ring the wheel would not sit flush against the rotor, when I tried to put the top lug nut on it would kick the bottom out, and vice versa. So, I took it off and it set flush like to should, or at least what I'm used to. I have never used hub centric rings for any of my wheels. I removed the rings from the rest of my wheels and finished the install.

My problem is that now I have a vibration in my steering wheel that was not there before, what gives?

Wheels: 19 x 8.5 w/ +42
Tires: 245/35/19

Could it be:

A. The wheels are no longer balanced because I removed the rings and when they were originally balanced they had the rings on the wheels. (can wheels be balanced with the rings on?)

B. Wheels and tires were not balanced correctly to begin with.

C. I need an alignment.

Please help.

Thanks,

Chris

You have the wrong size rings, if the rims need hubcentric rings and you don't put them on, you're going to vibrate. Go find the correct ring sizes and put them on. Then get an alignment

The rings were supplied by tire rack.

Where can I buy new rings or the correct rings?

Sounds to me like you need your rotors resurfaced or you need new rotors
