Tire Size for 20's on 2GS

I'm looking into 20x8.5 rims. What tire size does everyone run? From the wheel distributor, they say 245/30/20. My mechanic says I can get a 245 or 235/35/20. I'm going to be droppin the car about an inch with either LTuned or Eibach and I don't want to rub.

Can anyone shed some light for me?

Been searching thru posts and I believe that 245/35/20 is what most run. But will they rub with Ltuned Springs?

Front: 255/35-20 Falken FK-451

Rear: 285/30-20 Falken FK-451

Depends on your offset...High offset-245, low 225-235, also if you want the stretched VIP look...

I have 245/35/20 in front with no problems. Splash shields may need to be slightly modified in front. 285/30/20 with quarter panel modifications.

20 X 8.5 in front.
20 x 10 in rear.
