50mm offset too much for 1st gen GS300?
Ive found some 17" rims, the only thing is they are 50mm, I know I can buy spacers and what not, but what do yall think?

Ok, well, I bought the rims. The only thing I am havin trouble with now is tire size. The thing is, stock tire size is 26" in overall diameter, if I run 245/45/17 all around, I will be only about .3 off at 25.7, but if I run 235/45/17, I will about .7 off and Im afraid that will mess with my speedometer too much. Im also worried about the offset. I know you said that stock rims you thought were 50mm, but Im running pretty skinny tires (215/60/16) on those, so Im worried with the fatter tires I will have tire sticking out, and thats not what I want. I am not selling my stock rims, so if I have to buy spacers, its no big deal to wait.
