Default Got Specs For My Wheels. Advice Needed.

According to seller, size 20x8.5, offset +25, bolt pattern 5x4.5 (what's bolt pattern?).

Planning to lower the car about 1.25-1.5 inches.

I need advice on:

- Tire size to minimize rubbing. Don't want to sacrifice riding comfort or looks too much either, but I do have a heavy foot. Regular or low profile? I also noticed some members have bigger rear tires, does that make the car look better? Isn't it an inconvenience when it's time to rotate tires? Let me know. Also, a buddy of mine recommends getting the "widest" tires possible to protect the wheels when parking.

- Brand (app. price / model #)

- If you know, places in the Los Angeles area where I can get a good deal.

Thanks a lot in advance.

First, I suggest you look through this:
http://www.lgwnorcal.com/articles/wheelfitment.html

The typical tire size is 245/35/20. To stay within OEM specs, go with 245/30. Both are low profile. As for the offset, the rears will be fine. The fronts will be a little challenging. You will have to modify the fenders since the offset is a bit aggressive for the front.

You see some members with specs that are wider in the rear because their rim is wider in the rear. You don't have that issue since you are going with 4 rims of the same size/spec.

What's the best way to do this?

Thanks for the info.

Is there a similiar Wheel Fitment Link for the LS430? That was a terrific guide! Thanks.
