lost wheel lock key!

lost wheel lock key!
well just the other day i went to put my rims back on, and i guess after i was done i misplaced the wheel lock key, any of you guys have a clue what i should do? anyway of taking off the lock with out damaging my rims? sighh just got my rims on and i cant even drive her around.

if you choose to break them off at like discount tires or les schwab (which is $40 at both places where i'm at), they only tend to scratch up the inside where the lugs go. at least on the two different times on different wheels in my experience.
i could hear them BANGING on the socket to get them off from the waiting room. pretty rough.

Yup, the lock nuts tend to not be as strong as the regular nuts. I think softer metal so they can sculpt the key pattern or something. Usually, they hammer a socket onto it and impact wrench it out. needless to say the lock nut is damaged beyond repair, but since you don't have the key, who cares.

are these the oem lexus locks? your dealer should have a master key set...
if they dont have them, call around to other lexus dealers...
i lost my first key and my dealer brought out a case with all the keys and tried each one until we found one that fit, he then ordered me a replacement based on the key number...
the second key broke a year later, went back to my deal and he used the master key set again to get the locks off without damaging the wheels and replaced them with regular lugs...
