will 245/ 50 fit on 16" Platinum Edition wheels?.
I want to put 245/50 on my 16" Platinum Edition wheels will they fit?. Or how wide can I go on my 16" wheels.

hmmm.... thanks guys for the info. I didn't want it to bubble up but I wanted to get the staggered look on my 16"s. I guess its time to sell it and maybe get some supra tt wheels or the OEM 16" supra wheels.

Assuming the platinum series wheels are the same size as the standard 16s, 245/50/16 should fit. IAGS400 is running that exact size on his stock 16s with no problems. I'm pretty sure the outside diameter is almost identical to 225/55/16, so the speedometer shouldn't be an issue.

Are you wheels 7.5 inches wide, the same as the 5-spoke that came standard on the 98? Then 245/50R16 are an idea tire size for your rim.
Now, my other car has 7 inch rims and I am running 245/50R16's on it as well. They say you might get slight uneven wear with this setup. I've got about 15k with this setup and no signs of this happening yet. But then again they get rotated and the fronts and rears both have about 15 passes at the track on them.
