Default Wheel Question For IS250

Will 19x9 offset 45 - 235/35/19 (front) and 19x10 offset 45 - 275/30/19 (rear) work for a IS250 RWD lowered on Eibach Pro Kit with no rubbing?

I'm thinking of going with 245/35 in front and 285/30 in back. Will I have rubbing all around? Look at the first setup above for wheel size and offset..

flipsonic,

based on those offsets, I'm guessing you changed your mind on the VS-XXs?

From what I've been seeing in the IS forum, aren't most guys having rubbing problems on the inner fender even with 8.5" +35 to +40 on the fronts? Are you sure you want to try to fit a 9"? From what others have been reporting, if you want to avoid rubbing, you'll have to go with 8" in the front. Any wider and you'll have to mod the inner fender liner and/or shave the fender lip.

Yes, I've decided to get something else. I was told by Mackin 9" in front will fit. They have done it before on a IS250. I'm assuming I will have to mod regardless, so what the heck. Do you think a 285/30 in back will rub?

My 275's are pretty close. 285 in the rears may rub. Depends on what tires you choose.

Yeah I'm going with 275s for the rear. I don't want to have to roll the fender. Thanks for all the replies.

Someone told me a 45 offset to my 19x9 front wheels (on order) will have a larger lip than with a lower offset. Is this true? I thought it would've been the other way around. Can anyone comment?
