Need NEW Tires for OEM 17" on 01 GS430?
I need new tires for my stock 17" wheels on 01 GS430.
I currently have 245/45/17 Pirelli P-Zero Nero M/S and they became noisy after 5k miles. I have ContiExtremeContact on my 2000 Maxima SE for 30k miles and the tires are still great and have 4/32 tread left and not noisy, maybe because tread is smaller and not aggressive as P-Zero or because they are 215/50/16 size. Anyway,TireRack has 235/45/17 Conti's on special right now for $99 per tire, I think it is a great buy! How would they compare to $108 per tire Avon Tech 550 A/S tires which are rated 2nd on TireRack in this category and got great reviews from others, also 3rd tire I am considering is Khumo Acsta ASX for $85 a tire. What would be the best buy here if ride comfort, tread life, and noise would be first concern? All tires are rated high and priced very close? let me know what you think. 235/45/17 is the size I want to go with.
