Default I need an opinion of my Auto Couture rims.

Okay, I got my new wheels but I am disappointed with the lip size that it has. I ordered it with a 2" front and 3" back lip. It only has a 1" front and 2" back. I'm guessing the style of the face of the rim is meant to cover part of the lip.. I dunno what to do. I paid big money for these wheels and I am not too happy with it. Well, I like the wheels, just not the lip size. Its 20x8.5 F and 20x10 R. Not sure of the offsets. I could use some opinions. Should I live with it, or should I get rid of it for something else with bigger lip size?

This is from the front-side view. Look at the lip.

I saw these rims on the Auto Couture Japanese website, but it looks like they were designed with a smaller lip?

I dunno what happened? It was ordered to fit the 06 GS300 assuming they would know the specs. I guess its just the way the wheel is meant to be. I put a thin ruler on the lip, it actually is a 2" front and 3" rear, but the face of the wheel actually covers about an inch of the lip.

I hear ya on the big bucks for these wheels. Maybe sell em to someone else if you're not happy with them? I think it is the design, and they do look nice and clean on the car IMHO.

The rims look nice. You should keep them on for a few weeks. Maybe they'll grow on you. If not, sell them for something that makes you happy.

Those are some of the nicest wheels I have ever seen in my life!

And I have seen and owned... MANY.

Dude, that wheel is so clean and timeless.

probably the design, but i almost call it no lip. did they get your high disk front and back or what? disk type has a lot to do with the amount of lip you get.

i can't see the caliper clearance clearly in the pics, so i can't say if the shop actually got the wrong wheels for you or not.

Im not sure if it is a high disc setup or not.

Heres the front. It has about a 7/8 clearance between the rim and caliper
