i am going to change my tires soon and i am just wondering is its possible to have those wide tires that you seen on the X5?. They look so cool. what is the widest tires you can fit on the stock 18" rims?

I'm bumping this thread because I also would like to get the same look that the X5 has. I did see that the X5 runs a 315/20/19 on the rear tire which is probably too wide for the RX330. I'm more concerned with fenderwell clearance (especially in the front) and not just what will fit on the stock 18" wheel.

I hope someone out there has a factual answer.

The stock RX rims are only 7" wide so there is no way to get nearly as wide tires on them as the X5. I'm running 8.5" wide rims on my RX and I'm using 255/50 tires. I would say a 245, maybe 255 might be the widest you can go on the stock rim.
