dunlop5000 or yokohama avssport?
for virtually same price, which for sc430? more interested in ride & weather capabilities than performance to fill out balance of lrase. thaks for all help.

You might also want to have a look at ContiExtremeContact Ultra Performance All-Season. After searching for over a week for tires for my '98 LS400, I think I have narrowed down to these. Fairly low noise for a sport tire, more comfortable ride, good wet traction, and supposedly acceptable snow handling. Plus a 30 day test drive, so it's hard to go wrong.
Have a look at the reviews and narrow down by the "Lexus" brand. You'll find a number of SC430 owners who used it as a runflat replacement and were very satisfied.

No, it is not. Apparently, a lot of SC owners did not like the ride of the run flat and switched. One reviewer put an air compressor and tire goo in his trunk instead.
