Default Wheel fitment help

Newbie here, did a quick search and couldn't really find anything. But can anyone help a newbie figure out if a set of the following size will fit my 98 GS400?

- 19x9.0 +47 Offset, R dish, 37mm front lip
- 19x10.0 +48 Offset, O dish, 75mm front lip

Any input/help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Offset looks great to me. You might even be able to do 255/285's on that.

Well you can't say whether they'll clear big brakes or not. You have to ask the person selling it. Each wheel has a "disk" specification. Rims with high disks are made to clear big brakes.

Like the OEM GS rims are low disk. They *barely* clear the puny 2 piston brakes.

What car was it taken off from? If it'll clear TT brakes, it should clear other brakes.

But again, "Supra offset" wheels doesn't mean it'll clear the brakes. It just means that it'll clear the fenders.

It's not coming off any car since they're brand new, but he said that the fitment/offsets is for a MKIV TT. It's all good, if doesn't fit any bbk I'll have to do with upgraded rotors, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines and synthetic brake fluid. . . i'm not goin' to be racing anyways. . . Thanks again bro, you've been alot of help!

Hmm... lol. I knew I saw those same specs somewhere. When you mentioned Supra, I browsed a little more.

They do look good. I'm not sure how a GS can carry it out.

What do you mean "you're not sure how a GS carry it out"? I think my GS will carry the Work VS-XX just fine!

I don't know. I just don't like multi spokes on the GS. Maybe it's because I don't see it often. Before with the Supra, I hated multi spokes too, but the CCW's really got to me.

Those wheels are pimp, no doubt. I just rarely see wheels like that on a GS. Post up pics and change my mind

I like simpler 5 spoke designs.

Okay, check out this PIMP'd out GS with Work VS-XX wheels. I hope Seize don't mind me sharing his thread.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I really like the SP1 though. To be completely honest, I'm having a really hard time trying to find a set of wheels that I genuinely like on the GS.

Very true! I even thought about buying the SP-1's, but I'm more into the mesh look like the CCW's and the wheels I just bought. I know what you mean about picking which wheels to put on your ride as I went thru that as well, but really liked the mesh look. Well, good luck with your choice.
