Ive been lookin for some new wheels for my 2003 IS300 and ive heard some controversy over putting 19'' on the car. some say i will have to cut the wheel well/shave it down. others say that with too many people in the car..the back wheels will rub on the top of the wheel well....im lookin at 19'' by 8.5 and for tires ima just go with 235/35/R19....will these fit?? ive seen it dont but i dont want to have to cut my wheel wells...any info??...thnx

Do a 215/35 in the front and a 225/35 in the rear and it will be fine. My buddy has Axis MODS on his IS with Eibachs springs and it looks great and doesnt rub.

19's will fit on the car depending on offset, although it would be a rougher ride than going to an 18inch size. There is a few threads on different size wheels in the wheel section.
