What size tires for my VAPC 18" wheels? 245-40 or 245-45's?

What size tires for my VAPC 18" wheels? 245-40 or 245-45's?
I'm looking to getting new tires for my Lexus JDM VAPC 18" wheels - do I go with:
245-45-18's or
245-40-18's?
Will the 45 series give a little more comfort, less noise, and not lose any performance? Or will it not really be any difference from the 40 series in comfort, noise, and performance? Also - will the speedometer be off too much with the 45"s?
Let me know what you think and if anyone is running 245-45 and their experiences. Thanks!
