Need advise on how to remove WHEEL LOCKS
It happend that one of the IS300 owner wanted to swap my wheels, just to see if they will fit before he goes wide body kit and possibly take them off my hands since i'm getting new wheels soon. *** happends, left wheel lock socket at his garage or somewhere around (i'm 95% sure) can't find it in my car at least.,
To cut it short, no socket, no way i can take my wheels off especially when i get flat tire, you never know........
Anyway, he's not responding to my ph calls and voice messages ( i guess he thinks i want to sell the wheels to him?, i'm not a good telemarketer tho...)
Now, how can i take care of it without risk damaging wheels or buying expensive tools, all input is greatly appreciated

A good wheel shop should be able to remove the locks. I heard of some shops that cut them off or there is a tool that grabs the outside of the lock. Either way, you will have to buy new ones once you get them off.
I've broken a key before and to get the lock off, I tack-welded a nut to the lock and then used the nut to remove the lock but most people dont have access to a welder.

If those are Lexus wheel locks, the company that provided them (at least in 2006 is):
McGard
3875 California Road
Orchard Park, NY 14127
If you can get them your ID number (should have come in a packet with the car), a new wheel lock socket is about $15 (I bought an extra after I bought the car and it came quickly in the mail). If you no longer have the number, maybe there is a way you can prove to them those are your wheels and send a picture, but I thankfully didn't have to go through that. Good luck.
