Is it very tight fit with streched tire or it will need lots of work ( inner fender lip) in order to make it fit.
This is set up i'm looking at:

19x8.5 +42ET
19x10 +22ET or 19x9.5 +42ET (2 conservative for me)

Opinion please and thanks in advance

i wouldn't comment on the rear, personally i think it's too tight to fit.

but problem is front and back together. the front is very conservative and inset, but the rear is so aggressive? overall setup would look pretty funny

The only option for front i have is:
19x8.5 +42ET OR 19x8.5 +22ET so i'd rather go with +42 than +22 on 8.5'' rim

Rominl, how much work is required on rear fenders with 19x10 +22ET. Do you think shaving completly inner lip would be just enough or is it still tight fit?

what's wrong with going with the 19x8.5+22 on the front?? it's not that aggressive.....if it was a 9 it would be mildly aggressive. it be wayy better than that +42,especially since it's a 8.5


I truly believe that by shaving complete inner lip will be enough for the rears. maybe run a 255 or 265.

of course he isn't slammed by any means, but you see that they'll work

I tought that 8.5 +22 it's way too aggressive for front. Is that car on attached picture something simular to 8.5 +22 ? up front....

I dont want to sacrify completly the inner fender lip if i don't have to, also..... i'm thinking about runing 275 or 265min on 10'' rim. What do you think?

265-30 thats what i have on my wheels.
19x10 +20 265-30-19 and of course i have no fender tab anymore

the one on the pic is running 19x9+20 fronts

so you would be half inch less in width and 2mm in offset

What rims are you looking at Jake? I am kind of into the conservative thing due to the fact mine is a daily driver.

What's wrong with daily drivers and aggressive offsets? I drive mine everyday (1200-1500/month), and I haven't had one single problem with the wheels or tires. If you make the right accomodations for your wheels and tire set up, you should not have a problem with them.

I dont think it necessarily a problem for those who know what they're doing, but at least for me, I want to make sure any setup I put together is going to be as problem free at least as the car I bought. For me, I am somewhat new to doing this and want to make sure I dont spend money on things I cant enjoy long-term. I do have to say though, without CL, I would have made some serious mistakes already!

To others like you that are not as experienced might read your post and assume that since they also own a daily driver that aggressive wheels will not work. I just wanted other members to know that having aggressive wheel fitments and being daily driven is possible, just as long as it's done right.

true, but it is possible you end up with conservative wheels....and later you can't enjoy long term cause you can't stop thinking of going more aggressive, wich you should have done in the first place.
