Default HP evo brake clearance

Just picked up a set of beater 18x8 +38 HP evo's for the fronts. I hear these wont' clear Supra brakes and was wondering how much additional spacing do I need. Someone said if I get the 19x8.5 +38 then it would clear so 1/4in is roughly the amount. Anyone know what they used whether it be an adapter or spacers to help clear the brakes w/ the 18x8 +35's? Will it look that goofy if i run the 18x9 +38 rears in the front? haha, most likely huh?

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. I need to send out my 18x9 +12 18x10 +21 Work Amkread to get redone.

offset doesnt mean anything in this situation, you just need to know if the wheels are high disk. if it is medium or low it wont work.

when I had my 19" HP Evo's the fronts (+38) barely cleared my LS brakes...they cleared, but barely...left like a millimeter or 2 of space between the rim and caliper, good thing I had thin caliper stickers or they might have gotten shaved off, lol

These HP evo's don't specify which disk. If the 19x8.5 +38's clear and I have 18x8 +38, I'm roughly off by .25 inch? rough 4mm or so? Get away with a 5mm spacer?

If they were 19's I'd say yeah, definitely it will work...but I know for a fact the 18's don't clear BBK without using some sort of spacer, but how thick I don't know
