I PERSONALLY would suggest the McGard lug nuts. Pricey but oh so hot. I have them on my car. Well, when I have my wheels on anyway. Got mine from TMEngineering.

Thats **** dude, get ur dad or mom to take your car to the body shop and speak to a manger, tell them that you found ur key all messed since u took it to them, and that you "believe they did it" The worse they can do is say no and deny it. But then again they can say oh **** we did and we apologize.

Well I haven't heard anything like that before. But if they are that is cool though, they aren't the McGards I'm referring to. The ones I am talking about specifically; are splinedrive lugs with a floating washer design that rotates around even after they are tightened all the way. The ONLY way to get these off is to have the special tool that comes with them for each lug.

What Tammy was referring to was McGard manufactures the OEM lock sets for Toyota & Lexus. McGard has several lines and manufacturers lugs for many manufacturers.

I have a set of black splinedrives that I purchased through Todd at TM Engineering a while back. Luckily i'm within driving distance of Todd, I saved on shipping.

thank you all for your concern on my situation, i took your advice and went to the shop and said (calmy) that i think they messed up my key with the gun that they use to tighten the locks and lug nuts when i brought my car in for a tire repair and they said that they wouldn't know if it's another shop that broke it or if they did and they said either way we'll give you a brand new lock set. they proceeded to ask for my car model and year and make and went to the back and sure enough he gave me a new set .... no it's not the good mcgard, or whatever, ones but it's better than nothing and now i am happy. thank you to everyone and i'll be looking forward to post other situations/questions here at clublexus.com ... oh and by the way sorry for sounding so formal :-D HAHA bye!
