Aggressive or Conservative set-up

Aggressive or Conservative set-up
I just got a line on these wheels from the same shop I am to pick up a set of 18's however I am not sure if they will fit without mods, I have a GS 300 and the wheels are as follows Work LS 405 19x9 +36 F 19x10 +45 R. If they do what kind of a set up would they be considered Aggressive or Conservative?
Now for the problem. I have read various post and opinions vary. I want as stock a ride as possible and with the 18's leon hardiritt Orden 18x8 +32 F 18x9 +32 R with a set of Tein CS installed how close a stock ride will I get either one? Which will be the better choice if this is my daily ride and I want as close to a stock ride as possible?

sorry i missed this post. regarding the setup, the rear is no problem, it's a nice setup. the front is aggressive though, i know 9 +38 with 245 is probably ok, so your setup you might rub very little on the outside edge, probably you want to roll the fender a bit, especially the two tabs at 10 and 2 oclock
for the ride, if you want, you can just get fat setup for the 19s, meaning 245/40 and 275/35, that will give you the exact same sidewall as your 18s, so the ride shouldn't compromise much. your wheels will be overspec by 1", speedo off a little, but that's just like you are running 20s like me, i don't care
good luck!

I would consider either of those set-ups conservative.
19x9 +36 and 19x10 +45 shouldn't give you any problems if you use up to 245/35-19 front & 275/30-19 rear. No fender mods.are necessary.
On the 18" set-up, it largely comes down to tire choice. The fronts are a slam-dunk, but a 245/40-18 is about as wide as you'll want to go. The rear sounds aggressive, but 18x9 +32 sits the same on the fender as 18x10 +44. The only problem might be if you use a 275/35-18 tire it will sort of bulge over the rim and might touch the rear fender arch. You can remove the rear fender arch trim (four phillips screws) to gain a little clearance. For this set-up I would go 235/40-18 + 265/35-18, you'll be fine.
On ride quality; this comes down to tires. A good 19" tire will typically ride better than a cheap 18" tire. If you want good ride, look at the Michelins (big $) or a tire like the Toyo Proxes 4, something like an all season 'touring' tire. They won't offer the grip of an ultra-high performance tire, but will ride better, be quiter, and last longer.
My GS had crappy 'Defender' tires the previous owner installed on the OE 17" wheels. The car didn't ride great, the tires weren't very round, and were somewhat noisy... basically, the tires were awful. I went right to 20" wheels and tires and the ride actually improved. Choose tires carefully- you get what you pay for.
I would probably go with the 19" set-up; I think you'll be happy with it.

Thanks! I guess it all comes down to tires and what I am looking for. I consider myself some what conservative and with the Tein CS and a good set of tires I should get the look and ride I am looking for with the 18's. Unfortunatly being in Japan and the car in the states I don't have the luxury of checking both wheels out on the car first. The wheels come with goodyear tires but I may need to change that after I install in 15 months.
