Question spacers for aftermarket wheels for IS350

for those of you that did a 19" or 20" wheel did you have to put spacers for the front wheel like a 1/8" spacer so that the wheel would fit? I was told that I would have to put spacers for most wheels because of the huge calipers. can any one help.

if the wheel have the correct offset you do not need a spacer.

Spacer is only need if you want to push the wheel out a bit or try to fit a wheel with wrong offset on your car.

I had that problem too. Found the right tire shop and was able to get the right wheel. I have 20's staggered and love them. No spacers.

guys.... offset is not the problem. in fact it has little to do with brake calipers clearance. disk type is the biggest problem here. when you get wheels for is350 or cars with bbk, you need wheels that's HIGH DISK in the front, so the spoke design curves out more to clear the brakes. and then the offset might help a bit and give the final touch.

imho using spacers to clear the calipers that's not the right thing to do

spacers and adaptors are unversal products, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, etc... there is no model specific types. you just need the right bore and pattern. for lexus the bore is 60.1mm and pattern is 5x114.3. that's all the info you need
