Tire rubbing???
Hey all,
i read the wheel fitment in the sticky section but have a few questions. If my sc430 is not lowered and i get 20x8.5 in front and 20x10 in the rear, what size tires should i get so the tires do not rub. 255/30/20 in front and 285/30/20 in the rear or 255/35/20 in front and same rear. With the front tire walls being bigger will it look weird or does that make the car level out (ie. the back end doesnt sit higher than the front). Any recomendations.

actually you got it wrong.
with 245/30/20 and 275/25/20 (or 285/25/20) you are good to go, since that's the same spec as factory wheels, and you won't have any rubbing issues, granted you get the right offsets
with 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 (or 285), that's close to what i have and it's 1" overspec, and you might rub some places, even with the right offset. that's coz' of the 1" overspec
