Default What to use to roll fenders

I am wondering what tool you guys use to roll your fender. IE a bat? Lead pipe ect. Also does this crack your paint?

There is a tool that some shops have to do it correctly....I would NOT use a bat. Have it done right

to me baseball bat did most of the tricks. rollers are better but depends on how much you need to do

how come you need to mod your fenders?

Rominl the 255/35 rubbing pretty bad.

tried the heat gun this weekend still rubbing trust me I heat gunned almost everywhere.

Pretty sure its rubbing the top of the fender well. I am either going to have to raise the car up some or get smaller tires

you are rubbing the top of the wheel well, close to the outside right? that's pretty much a problem for all 20s. i rubbed too (and i have 255 as well, but doesn't matter, 245 will still rub, i checked). after rubbing for a while it will rub out part of the fender flaps and you will have less and less rubbing. it's no bigging. i didn't do anything to my fenders, there is a small hole there now. i am not giving up my wheel gap.

if it was a little rubbing it wouldnt be too bad, but when I tap the brakes its rubbing big time not just the top but the back also and it makes a really loud noise. I am thinkin of 245/30/20 which should be drastic enough. I am going to raise my car up a little and see how it looks first since thats cheaper and easier. I even took off the black ruber that covers a metal band that goes around the fender at the edge since it was all rubbed down to the metal. I didnt think that there was going to be such a big problem with these tires. I already rubbed a couple holes

you are rubbing that metal stripe on the fender edge as well?! how come?!

how low is your car? i have zero finger gap, and i only rub when i hit bad dips, and it's only at the top of wheel well

this is weird man. i am just wonder how much would 245 help. we are talking about 4mm difference here
