Default SC430/GS430 rear caliper is ugly

is it me or does the rear caliper just look super ugly? is there any way to upgrade the front ones then rig the old front calipers to the rear?

Get yourself some nice cross-drilled rotors and some caliper paint and they look fine IMO

man those are some nice wheels they deserve a nice set of brakes to go with it

I think just painting them is a way to hide them not accentuate them.

I've got that handled up front

Just don't have any real need to upgrade the rear... overkill IMO and w/ SS lines, upgraded pads and better fluid (ATE Super Blue) I get most of the benefits that you would with upgrading them anyway. If I did it, it would be purely for cosmetics/ show. Same reason I swapped the Supra TT brakes I had for the Brembo GT 355mm set. Rears don't bug me at all like that.

Black is what I had my TT brakes painted up front. IMO painting rear OEMs red is posing... they're fine just like they are (discrete and clean).

ls rears? good luck fitting, you need new brackets

i have black ap racing front for my gs400, and i painted the rear black as well

i have red stoptech for my sc430, no time to deal with the rear yet. maybe a good reason to upgrade them later on as well
