if you were to mount a 235/35/19 or 245/35/19 tires which are made for 8.5 inch wide weels on a 8"wide wheel, how much taller would the tire be? does anyone have pics of these? i currently have 225/35/19 and i hate it......

To be honest...you probably not going to see that big of a difference between mounting either of those tires from an 8" rim and a 8.5" rim. Most manufacturers recommend between an 8 to a 9" rim for both of those sizes. Also keep in mind that all tire manufacturers have a little difference between those sizes. You can go to any companys website and get the "specs" on the sizes they carry. For example...Nitto 555's are a 25.1" diameter for a 235 and a 25.87" for a 245 series....some other companies are going to be a little bit higher and little bit lower. Thats why if someone is going to a staggered set-up...I always say a 235...275 combo because they are super close to the same diameter. the 245 series is about .2 to .3" taller in the front if you go that route.
