Changing finish of wheels

Send Derrick a PM (D2).
I bought some 19" Daytona's (Brushed Aluminum) from him and inquired about going Polished.
I have yet to put the wheels on the car yet. Pending tires, but I am feeling the brushed aluminum with the polished lip.

Hey Rich,
The finish can be changed, however by the time you complete all the steps you will probably come out cheaper by selling the current set and getting a new set. (shipping wheels back, disassembly, stripping, refinishing, clearcoat, assembly, shipping, etc).
I would vote for a classifieds pitch and a new set it will be cheaper.

Thanks for the help Derrick. I guess I didnt take into account all the steps necessary in the process. Does iForged do this work or would it go to a different shop? I have been seriously thinking about getting the 3GS soon so I may wait to see what I do. Are the offsets of the 2GS and 3GS similar?

A cheaper alternative would be to have the faces painted or powder coated. I have the hi polished iforgeds also and have been thinking of doing the centers black chrome or silver/gunmetal. Prices range from $400-600 from the wheel shop.

Darn it! I was possibly thinking about changing my hi polished Aero's to brushed aluminum.

You are right bro.
It does add more Depth to the wheels. A buddy of mine had to convince me to go Brushed instead of Hi Polished.
