Question about 19" or 20" rims...
To those of you that have 19's or 20's on your New IS. Does your set up rub up front, even the slightest, when you hit a bump too hard or if you turn the wheel all the way to one side?
When you bought your wheels and tires, did you ask if 245's would fit upfront?
The reason I ask is because I have a set of 245/35/19 tires from my old car that I can use when I get my 19" Volks.
I am pretty sure everyone here with 19's or 20's either have 235/35/19's or 235/35/20's, but I thought I would ask anyways.
One other thing I did not like also when I saw a pic of someones 19" setup was that on the front, it looked liked the wheel stuck out a little bit further than the tire.
TIA

Check out this info from another thread:
sajonf had this setup:
Front - Volk SF Challenge Diamond Black 19x8.5 +34mm - Toyo T1R 235/35/19
Rear - Volk SF Challenge Diamond Black 19x9.5 +40mm - Toyo T1R 275/30/19
wheels seemed flush, its in the first page of the official 2IS mod thread but his pics are down

I am not a wheels and tires expert on IS but if your car is NOT lowered you will be fine but if its lowered, you may have rubbing (not for sure). The main thing is the offset on your wheels.
Stock IS
Front 225-45-17 (25.0 inches in diameter)
Rear 245-45-17 (25.7 inches in diameter)
245-35-19 is 25.7 inches in diameter so you are only off by 0.7 inches which is not that much.

On a 2IS with you will rub slightly when the wheel is fully turned, more noticably in reverse (with 35-38 offset). If you have the tires already I'd run them and see before I bought the 235s since you have nothing to lose.
