Default To answer some 20" wheel questions...

So, I'm sitting here trying to decide what wheels I want for the new GS. In my garage are 4 chrome 20" Lowenhart LD-1 with 245/35 tires. Unfortunately they belong to my 530i with a 5x120 pattern. I know that my 350z has the same lug pattern as the GS but the offset is way too low (+15 fr and +20 r). Well, to see how bad these would stick out I mounted them up. Needless to say +15 and +20 offsets are way too low. Along with that, the tires are 255/35/20 and 285/30/20. There was a good deal of rubbing on both the front and back of the inner fender well (front tires) but the rears fit ok (if you like that deep dish Dayton look; sticking out all crazy like ).

Now I think I'm going to order some Asanti 128's (or similar) sizes 20x8.5 +35et and 20x10 +40et with 245/35 and 275/30. Hopefully the extra few mm's will get r' done.

I really like the Asanti 128s. What size lip can you get in the rear on the new GS?

pretty close to what you can get on the 2gs i'd say. seems like the two cars take about the same offset wheels
